The total ascent is almost 1000meters to the mountain hut and the path is almost 6 Km long to get at the mountain hut all of those 6 km uphill. You are strongly advised to wear proper hiking boots, made for long hikes. Typical running and sports shoes are not advised. The duration of the hike depends from your physical ability and the brakes/stops you will take. It should take you from 2 to 3 hours. Also bare in mind that you should not start at night or find yourself still hiking when night arrives.
